Rainscaping is a form of landscaping designed to reduce runoff by directing the excess water from rooftops, driveways and other impermeable surfaces into special gardens, rainbarrels, drywells and the like. Other approaches inculde green roofs, permeable driveways and cisterns. Below are some examples of rainscapes in Garrett Park.
